ABOUT AFCEA

AFCEA has 135 different chapters in over 30 countries. The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) is one of the world's premier C4I professional societies. With over 33,000 members on four continents, AFCEA is comprised of political, military and industry leaders. The Association is widely recognized for excellence, high ethical standards and the quality of its events. It is considered by top decision makers to be the pre-eminent association in its field. AFCEA serves as an ethical bridge between government requirements and industry's capabilities, representing the top government, industry, and military professionals.

Southern Arizona Chapter of AFCEA has three primary objectives:

1. To provide an ethical forum for Government and Industry to share information for the purpose of improving Government's requirements and material development process.
2. To sponsor a luncheon program to further understanding of relevant technical concepts important to members of Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista.
3. Finally, to raise funding in order to sponsor student scholarships for deserving students pursuing science and technology fields of study and to provide grants for local schools who offer technology courses.
